Fashion Week, oh Fashion Week, how I love thee Fashion Week.

OK, so the ready-to-wear shows aren’t quite the super highlight the couture shows are, but that doesn’t mean they don’t show off some good shoes.

Like the Tuleh show, where three shoes were altered repeatedly to complement a whole host of outfits.  I’m not generally into that idea, being someone who loves the variety and multiplicity of the designer shoe landscape.  But the Tuleh folks have done it up right, because their color and pattern variations made for a slew of very different looking and very pretty shoes.

Take a look.

That first pair is ho-hum as far as design creativity goes, but they’re nice looking.

The wedges, though?  I’m a little ashamed to say it, because a part of me thinks they’re really ugly, but a part of me also thinks they’re a perfect mix of eclectic funkyness and unpretentious style.  Also, I think they should be sold at Ikea, where they’d be named something like Sköl.

But the shoe that really won me over from the Tuleh trio is this one:

I mean, for real.  How often do you see a single shoe done in two such different ways that one could be worn to a garden party, and one’s ready for night clubbing.
