Louis Vuitton Red Platform Lace-Up Sally Pumps

posted by: freePOrnaoa in General, Louis Vuitton Shoes

What do you think, readers? Is this LV a “Mais Oui!” or an “Ah, Non!”?

I love the combo of a classic menswear shoe with a sexy women’s heel, so for me this is a “Mais Oui!”

What makes the deal even sweeter for me is the red platform and the slightly strange black stripe. I like how it doesn’t go all the way around but sort of ends bizarrely at an arbitrary point. It makes this shoe more special.

Pretty In Python, But It Can’t Be Shipped to California

posted by: freePOrnaoa in Lanvin Shoes

Hello, Bow-Toe!

Lanvin’s Bow-Toe Python Slingback is the perfect late summer shoe that will transition into fall.

This 2.5-inch heel with an elastic slingback has a slightly atypical python print. The python seems to be slightly stretched out or elongated, as if someone had pulled it around the length of the shoe.

Compared to today’s high, high heels, this height of 2.5 inches is starting to look like a kitten heel.

A note: Python items cannot be sold or shipped to the state of California. What a bummer for the Californians!

Do you think python should be outlawed because it is endangered, or are you an angry fashionista in California who wants her python?

Jennifer Aniston in Tom Ford’s Satin Peep-Toe Stilettos

posted by: freePOrnaoa in General

Not that she doesn’t always look fantastic, but who doesn’t love them some Jennifer Aniston in Tom Ford’s shoes?

These may look ivory, as they’ve been reported, but I’ve got the scoop that they’re actually a very light pink. They are also available in black, red, and black mesh, and I’ve been told by Tom Ford New York that they are in stock.

Tom Ford Peep-Toe Stilettos, $660 (on sale from $1320 ) at Tom Ford boutiques.

Local New York boutique:

NOS Shoe Boutique is Fabulous

posted by: freePOrnaoa in Cynthia Vincent Shoes, General

It’s not just the cute and quirky posters at NOS Boutique. So what makes it so special?

It’s the shoes, the customer service, the airy, relaxed store, the cool, funky neighborhood and the desire to come back again. Located in the neighborhood of DUMBO, in the shadow of the Manhattan Bridge, this boutique has saucy posters, supernice staff, hip clientele and, most of all, a beautiful, well-curated selection of shoes.

Sometimes you want to go to a shoe store like DSW to see millions of pairs of shoes. And other times, you want to go to a small boutique where you can relax, have a friendly chat with the owner, and choose from only several dozen pairs of shoes. I prefer the latter experience, even if the price tag might be a bit higher. I like to talk to the owners about their favorite shoes, what the new trends are and where they shop.

What’s your favorite boutique in your hometown or when traveling to NYC? Do you try to support your local small shoe stores?

Louboutin’s Lucifer Pump: Light or Dark?

posted by: freePOrnaoa in Christian Louboutin Shoes, General

When it’s hot, it’s hot.

This Louboutin Lucifer Spike Bow Pump manages to be both ladylike (in its shape) and fierce (in its spikes).

This Italian-made heel features a calfskin upper and a padded leather lining.

With a pointed toe and some toe cleavage exposed by the low cut, this is a sexy, sexy heel!

The bow won’t flop around, as it has two layers of firm calfskin. Nice.

The heel is 5 inches, so no easy walking here. But if there’s any man you’d suffer for, wouldn’t it be Christian Louboutin?

Which pair do you want, the light or the dark?

Louboutin Lucifer, $995 in-store at Bergdorf Goodman.
