Bettye Muller: A shoe for all ages
Posted on March 5th, 2007 by shoesense under FlatsThe variations on the classic pilgrim flat first designed (or rather, modernized) by Roger Vivier have been endless. But still, every once in a while a new designer nails the beauty and simplicity of the original, while bringing up to date. As such, I am pleased to offer for your Monday morning commute this Bettye Muller peep toe, in white leather with navy grosgrain trim and gold and navy buckle on vamp. The subtle play of contrasts (between the white and the navy, the gold and the navy, and the large buckle and tiny peep-toe) lends this shoe its sophistication and appeal. They’re just a whisker shy of $300 on Nordstrom.com.
