Apparently Crocs are having some problems penetrating the European market. More specifically, they couldn’t get the European Union to grant their patent for Crocs’ Beach model shoes. The Europeans thought that the shoes “lack individual character” compared to other similar brands’ styles.

“Lack individual character” indeed! Not to mention style, safety, and yes, I’ll say it, practicality. How can you be a devotee of shoes that are only appropriate for gardening? Sheesh.
