(Almost) My Beautiful New Fendis: Good for Cankles

These were almost my beautiful new Fendis.
Alas, they are not, for though the Saks Shoe Sale is mighty, my wallet is not equally mighty.
I know they might look a bit boring or funny to some of y’all, but to me they are tan gold!
I tried them on in Saks and am still sad I didn’t get them. But with a 5.75-inch heel and 1-inch platform, these are just too high for me, even with a padded insole and rubber grip sole (and too expensive, still, considering needing to save up for all the summer travel I’ll be doing).
But the leather IS ridiculously butter-soft and if you have cankles, these will still fit you since they have a drawstring at the top.

I left behind some buttery-smooth purple D&G booties one time at Century 21, still to this day dream about them.
