I can’t think of any shoe I’d like to have more, right now. And the price ticket isn’t even that bad.
It’s just that this gorgeous shoe is not very practical for my life right now.
Practicality?!?!? you shout through cyberspace. Since when did practicality dominate your shoe decisions???
Well, it’s just that I’ve more had Earth Shoes and Danskos on my mind these days. The kinds of tough, lasting, supportive shoes I’ll need to tromp through the NYC fall and winter. Summer’s almost over! They were fairly comfortable and well-priced, but I just couldn’t see wearing them much.
And thus, it seems to me that this gorgeous faux-suede turquoise sandal would have no place in my life right now.
