Bergdorf Goodman’s Windows

Bergdorf Goodman consistently has some of my favorite store windows in the world. I love Saks’ holiday displays complete with holiday music that chimes to the rhythm of a snowflake light display, but for year round glamor, few things beat Bergdorf.

Right now at Bergdorf, there’s a tribute to Lincoln Center’s 50th anniversary. Some gorgeous Louboutins could be seen in the windows below. Unfortunately, the shoes were not labeled for the most part.

Do we sense a return to ballet slippers, but with a jewel-encrusted toe and some tasteful lacing? Could be fun.

The only other windows I’ve maybe liked this much are Saks’ golden age film star windows and Barneys’ Andy Warhol windows.

Every once in a while I envy you urban girls. I am in the land of suburban malls that don't really have any display windows.

Looking at the ballet slippers, Oscar De Larenta has some beautiful flats with a gorgeous jewel at the toe.
