Beverly Mitchell upcoming shoe line

Y’all know Beverly Mitchell, right? She of Lucy Camden fame on 7th Heaven, that is. Well, guess what–she’s branching out, and not only into folk music, but into shoes as well.
Here’s what attracted me to her line: according to a press release, she was inspired to create the line after a car accident made it difficult and painful for her to wear high-heeled shoes. After struggling to find flat shoes that were comfortable, stylish, and affordable, she decided to create her own. The collection, called Bflats, will launch in Spring 2008 and is decidedly oriented toward the teen crowd:
I love the idea that they are flats and also quite cute. Given their intended audience, I’m guessing they are reasonably priced and easy to wear. Note to moms of teens and tweens everywhere!
