Bill Cunningham Shoots Miu Miu’s Metal Flower Pumps

In his recent New York Fashion Week video on skirt lengths, uberlovable fashion photographer Bill Cunningham featured the Miu Miu Metal Flower Pump we wrote about. I have to say, these are not the tights and skirt I pictured being worn in real life with shoes that cost nearly a grand!

What skirt length and outfit would you wear with these femmey-yet-powerful shoes, readers? I’d picture a girly power suit cut just above the knee or a pencil skirt cut just to the center of the knee. Culottes? Metallic shorts for going out? These shoes feel very “Asian” to me, something I can see being worn fervently in Seoul and Hong Kong.

They do have a very Asian feel to them. They're not my cup of tea, but those Chanel booties are!

I like them too — I was surprised I did! I usually don't like flowers of any kind on my shoes. Thanks for reading and commenting, Anna. We're glad you like them!

Definitely a cute powersuit, or even a full skirt that hits mid-calf, and a tailored mens-style button-up shirt, for contrast! Love the shoes either way.
