As I have said before, it is so easy to get down in the dumps because everything is so cold and grey, so a splash of color, such as Lanvin’s Mary Jane Wedge ($589 at Barneys), can brighten the day exponentially. Frankly, even if I just saw someone walking down the street wearing these, I would feel better myself!
With this shoe, Lanvin has created an fun take on the traditional Mary Jane style of shoe. (more…)
Lanvin for H&M

Mark your calendar, ladies! On November 23rd, Lanvin’s exclusive collection for H&M will arrives in stores. Of the 48 pieces in the womenswear line, four are shoes. If you think that piece no. 33 and no 34 looks familiar, you only have to refer back to the Lanvin’s spring 2009 collection to see the sequin heel that inspired this pump, only the price tag is now $99 instead of in the mid three digits. And while I was a bit disappointed not to see any ballet flats, I was pleased to see there are several drool worthy dresses that are identifiably the work of Lanvin.
