Simple. Zappos.com has a number of styles on last-chance clearance in limited sizes and lowered prices. That’s pretty much reason enough to chase away any ‘Case of the Mondays’ a shoe-lover might have.

I was sighing over the perfect Zanotti rose sandal a few weeks back; in the meantime, I’ve discovered that it also comes in blue, wanna see?

Yep, still pretty, still out of my price range at $550.

But! Never fear! Rose seems to be a popular sandal flower this season. Poetic Licence has issued this pretty version that’s selling like hotcakes (plus, it’s double the rose!):

The red version is $80 at Piperlime or Endless, $88 at Anthropologie; and if you want it in gold, Zappos is barely holding on to their last pair in a size 8.

Anthropologie also has this pretty-pretty raffia rose sandal, for $188:

I have to confess, it was love at first sight with these:

Who doesn’t love the red/animal print combination (especially in ponyskin)? It has been used to great effect by many a designer, and once can see why. I personally own two Pliner creations, a loafer and a toe-loop sandal, sporting a cheetah-print upper with a red sole combination, and we all know the Louboutin heels with an animal print upper combined with the signature red sole. These Moschino Cheap and Chic leopard-print shoe are equally delicious, sporting a red patent trim and heel. They are available for $395 at Net-a-Porter. So what if the toe reminds me a bit too much of the famous Marc Jacobs ‘mouse’ shoe:

…they are still super-cute!

Here’s another shoe perfect for the eve of the 4th of July, and why not, for the 4th of July itself, this adorable nautical sandal from Moschino, which, amazingly enough, is 50% on sale. It now costs $135 at Nordstrom, finally living up to the ‘Cheap & Chic’ moniker of this Moschino line. I love the color combo, the buckle, the sailor’s knots, the patent, the stripes, the flair. Deee-lish!
