ShoeMint with Rachel Bilson
posted by: HerberWellss in Celebrity Shoe Style, General, Rachel Bilson, Steve Madden Shoes
BeachMint has added another line to it’s group. It started with JewelMint with Kate Bosworth October 2010, then added StyleMint, a collection of t-shirts with the Olsen girls in July 2011, BeautyMint with Jessica Simpson in October 2011 and now Rachel Bilson has joined the group with ShoeMint, which went live not long ago.
Rachel and her stylist Nichole Chavez are the stylists, Steve Madden is the production guy. I don’t know if it will be only Steve Madden shoes or if there will be shoes he licenses – which is a huge spectrum of choices.

Love Fury from Nine West
Nine West is stepping into the fragrance business with its first scent, Love Fury, due out in mid-January. This news is a little dated since they announced it a month ago, but I always seem to be a day late and a dollar short.
I thought the bottle was fairly clever. Nine West will also will include a specially designed Love Fury pump, a pointed-toe platform available in black satin and an array of other colors and fabrications. (more…)
Yves Saint Laurent’s Palais
posted by: HerberWellss in General, High heels, Platforms, Pumps, Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) Shoes
This shoe has been around for quite a while. There are several colors and versions; peep toe, sling back, booties, suede, 80 mm and 105 mm high, and a zillion colors. I had one version of this shoe in my Saks Shopping Cart, waited too long and now it is gone.
After Kate Winslet wore the black suede version with a Stella McCartney dress, I wanted you to see them again. I love the curve in the platform, the heel has a pretty, pretty curve and is a little thicker than a lot of designer shoes. I tend towards a thicker heel for stability, because, quite frankly, falling down is a little embarrassing.
This silver shoe is new for this season available for $750 at Nordstrom’s. Wonderful shoe for Holiday time. Can’t you just see yourself wearing something this pretty?

Moschino Cheap and Chic Laser Cut Ribbon Pumps

Moschino is one of those shoe-brands that leads me from shoe-crush to shoe-crush. It happened again today with these red-hot, laser-cut pumps.
With their elegant filigree design, these had me at ‘laser-cut’.
I’m not usually one to start even thinking about Christmas until we’ve at least finished cooking the turkey for Thanksgiving, but the shiny red-patent and swirling-filigree design combo has these shooting straight to the top of my Christmas list.
They wouldn’t even have to be wrapped up; they come with their own festive bows.
