Celebrate Independence Day with Zanotti style

posted by: brianka in General on July 4th, 2010

Oh, say can you see, by the dawn’s early light

What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming?

Whose broad stripes and bright starts, thru the perilous fight,

O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?

And the rocket’s red glare, the bombs bursting in  air,

Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there.

Oh, say does that star-spangles banner yet wave

O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

For those of you here in the States celebrating this holiday weekend: HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!

Giuseppi Zanotti E00063 $895 $579.96 (Yes, it does appear that Shomore spoke too soon on these.)

I was conjuring up images of some sort of 'showgirl' doing a song and dance number at Dollywood in these!

These are another entry into that art-shoe exhibition hall that exists only in my mind. I'd definitely hope one of the shoe museums like BATA are able to get ahold of a pair.

LOL, they are ridiculously over the top. The description that comes to mind is "pagent shoes". I keep imagining them on a Texas drill team or on the feet of a female grand-marshall at any duly patriotic parade-worthy holiday. And when I look at them the 'Yellow rose of Texas' plays in the background of my mind…they could definitely work for the aspiring Miss Texas in one of the national pageants.

This is totally a ONE event shoe. You can't purchase these and then go traipsing all over the place every weekend in them or you run the risk of being percieved as a deranged prostitute!

Unless they went for gold stars, I suppose a gold heel might compete with the silver stars. This was such a no-brainer must post for July 4th shoe. It's flamboyance also kind of makes me think of Texas and never doing things halfway if you can be larger than life. :)

Despite the silver heel (which I generally hate) I WOULD wear these once, and only once, to a 4th of July party and be VERY drunk and probably highly amused with these shoes.
