Custom-painted Vans!

Custom-painting Vans? Seems like an honest buck for an aspiring young artist, who thus breathes some fresh life into a classic. Anne Fleisher, 19, can personalize your Vans for you in about two hours. Her hand-painted Vans sell for $250 in select boutiques–although out of that, she only makes about $40 a pair. You can see more examples of her work at annafleischer.homestead.com, where you can also email her with your personalized requests.

If you’re a die-hard Vans fan, that is.
