I have a weakness for platform wedges on the lower end of the spectrum–that’s because they’re sturdy, do a fantastic job cushioning your feet from the hard street, and offer enough support to not make your feet ache by the end of the day. These days, the low platform wedge topped with a contrasting thin ankle strap seems to be quite popular among designers as well.
