Designer Shoe Deja-vu: Marc Jacobs vs Boutique Platform Wedges

I have a weakness for platform wedges on the lower end of the spectrum–that’s because they’re sturdy, do a fantastic job cushioning your feet from the hard street, and offer enough support to not make your feet ache by the end of the day. These days, the low platform wedge topped with a contrasting thin ankle strap seems to be quite popular among designers as well. This week’s edition of Designer Deja-vu brings you a medley of ankle strap brown wedges, all on the lower side. Let’s start with these Marc Jacobs chestnut leather wedges, $221 on Zappos (30% off) (note that there is a higher heel version for $230–or $192 on Shoes.com ).
…Which looks very similar to these Kate Spade Abigail wedges, $171 on Zappos (15%off):
If this still doesn’t do it for you, here’s this Boutique 58 ‘Margaux’ Wedge in patent leather, $57 (down from $115) at Nordstrom:

Can you elaborate? I wear a 10, and I think I look great in platforms!
Not so hot in ankle straps, but still–platforms rule. Why do you think these would not look cute on you?
