In addition to today’s Boot Sale, they also have other styles of shoes on sale at 40% off as well.
Some eye-catching options in boots for you to consider:
This first boot just brings to mind the thought of sipping hot cocoa and having cozy conversation with the family in front of a warm fire.
Jessica Simpson ‘Mazzey’ $83.94 $139.
With the quilted fabric and patent contrast, this next one still looks cozy, but has a hint of edge.

Calvin Klein ‘Diamond’ $96.00 $160.
This one is all straps and buckle. Super sexy… but the warm brown tones keep it from being too in-your-face and helps keep it’s edge on the more subtle side.

Calvin Klein ‘Peg’ $89.40 $149
This one (aptly named) has a definite Western vibe. Cute for the gal who loves showing that she’s ‘A Little Bit Country’.
Next, generous fringe for the Boho-Chic Moccasin lover.
Next, throwing me back again to a 1980’s Janet Jackson vibe, are these sexy, kidskin, ‘marching band’ boots.
Antonio Melani ‘Mirabelle’ $118.80 $198
And, from my favorite Project Runway judge, a straight-up, unapologetically sexy, black leather boot:
Michael Kors/Michael ‘Lattington’ $178.80 $298
As for the shoe and sandal selection? Well, my attention was stolen by some fantastic Vince Camuto Styles. Too bad New Years Eve is already over … Wowza.
Vince Camuto ‘Palmer’ $62.50 $125
Vince Camuto ‘Nell’ $65.00 $130
Vince Camuto ‘Greene’ $65.00 $130
Vince Camuto ‘Nora’ $65.00 $130
I don’t know how long the sales prices are good until … So, hop on over & take a look to see if there is a perfect shoe deal to ring in your New Year.

Men like shoes also

I understand that men like shoes. We actually have a number of men who stop by our forums from time to time. Some of them love sneakers and atheletic shoes while others are interested in alternative fashion choices in men’s footwear such as higher heeled options than are normally found in men’s dress shoes.
But, at this point in time, we happen to be a fashion blog whose reader demographic is predominantly woman. And, most of those are interested in dress & designer footwear. We don’t write nearly as many articles about comfort and athletic footwear as we do about visually arresting styles. Perhaps we will eventually find a good fit with an additional male blogger who could address men’s shoe issues & interests - who knows? However, all of our writers at this time are women with varying degrees of knowledge and slightly different footwear tastes. I certainly do not have much in the way of experience or expertise to share with male readers at this time, but do feel that at some future time we may find a way to highlight more men’s styles and brands if there is enough reader interest in that happening.
Also, to those of us blogging here, this is not our ‘day job’ but an act of enthusiasm that we share for appreciative folks like ourselves. Most of us shoe-lovers have trouble finding other women in our ‘real world’ who share our enthusiasm, let alone even trying to get most of the men in our lives to understand it - at best most men we meet tolerate our harmless shoe obsessions. So, we find other shoe-lovers here - and most, though not all of them - tend to be women
Of course, with sales alert articles like this, I generally show styles that appeal to me personally, or that are currently on-trend for our readers. Once again, back to reasons why we have such a tendency to write on women’s interests - we write what we know.
