DIY Shoe Rack for Practical Shoes

While this shoe rack might be lovely for practical shoes, there is no way this puppy would work for most of my shoes or probably yours, dear reader, if you’ve got any fancy pairs. It would ruin the toes and not all of your shoes, I’m sure, have a similar height in the toes.
Still, it’s always interesting to have another option for shoe storage, and this is a clean, visible, organized method. Gazing at my two heaped piles of shoes organized in “Fancy” and “Not Fancy” (since I only have an sixteenth of my shoe collection with me right now and no shoe storage options in my temporary sublet), I would love to have a floating shoe rack for the “Not Fancy” pile.
