Dolce & Gabbana DS1732-E4755 Platform Pump $790
These sumptuous velvet pumps could easily be another contender for the Red Queen’s shoes… And yes, I am excited to see what Tim Burton et. al. have come up with in regards to the whole Alice in Wonderland story mythos – too bad I have to wait until March to find out.
Dolce & Gabbana DS1772-E4761 Platform Pump $995
Taking a page from the Icon Shoes playbook, these D&G platforms take the art-on-shoes graphics up a few pegs. Utterly impractical; I love them completely.
My taste has definitely been running toward the, shall we say, devastatingly Baroque of late. Perhaps that’s because I have been spending way too much time either at home in my workout clothing or out and about in warm, yet not exactly figure-flattering, winter layers.
Whatever the case, I’ll end here with an enthusastic “O Frabjous Day! Callooh! Callay”. Some shoes manage to give me that warm and happy feeling just by looking at them.

I love it, and I’m pretty sure my wife would love it too. She’s struggling with this new platform silhouette. It will probably take her another season to like it, and another season to buy it. I am considering purchasing a pair just so she can get used to it faster.

If you like these, check them out occassionally at endless.com & Amazon.com. Endless is owned by Amazon & occasionally an item will go on excellent clearance price on Amazon only + shipping. It’s a great way to get a good price if you don’t mind a normal shipping time (endless is generally overnight or 2-day shipping).

Eye candy, definitely. I would not know how to walk in them. Haha

Why is Brian poaching my comments?

R5 – I was actually wondering if Bryan might be ‘yours’ since it sounded so much like a comment you would make.
