As the delicate creatures of mystery made of sunshine and roses that we are, we never ever have to experience issues with our footwear–I’m talking of, how shall I put it, the olfactory infraction kind. Right? Ahem.
But just in case you know someone who, you know, might have a problem now and then, fear not: our Japanese friends have figured out a way:
L.I.D. (Life In Detail) offers the Eco Shoes Dryer–a cross between a shoe tree and a dehumidifier, I guess. They contain silica gel drying material powered by an internal battery, which is rechargeable. You can follow the link–but don’t ask me to translate it, my Japanese is a wee-bee rusty. Word is that these things cost the equivalent of about $27. And yes, they’re available for purchase online. If you know Japanese, that is.
