Ever Wonder…
Posted on May 25th, 2007 by jitterbugbaby under General, High heels, Stuart Weitzman Shoes… what were the most expensive shoes in the world?
Well, as best I can tell, for things that were actually on sale, these Stuart Weitzman’s take the cake.

They were designed based on (no surprise here) the ruby slippers from The Wizard of Oz and contained 642 rubies woven together with platinum thread. They were on sale at Harrod’s in London (no info on the date, unfortunately) for 1 million pounds (just under $2 million).
And here I thought a few hundred dollars was a lot to spend on shoes!

- Net-A-Porter’s TheOutNet.com is now online
- Cobra Shoes!
- Flat Oxfords: When to wear?
- Stuart Weitzman and the $2 million dollar shoes
