Fab or trash? Terry de Havilland Edition
Posted on April 26th, 2007 by shoesense under WedgesEvery once in a while I come across a shoe so fantastically repellent, so egregiously over-the-top, that I am left at once speechless and agape (not a flattering pose for me, for sure). Such are these appallingly fascinating platforms from the King of Platforms himself, Terry de Havilland .

There is a part of me that kinda digs the shiny snakeskin-print details, and part of me that finds the black suede-silver patent combo, especially in copious quantities as here, gaudy in every sense of the word. What do you think? (Oh, and if you can’t resist their dark attraction, they’re $358 on Yoox.)

I find that they look gross and cheap. Ugh.
