Fall Trends: Gray Prada

Fall beckons with shades of gray this year–a welcome respite, perhaps, from the luxuriant colors of summer. So far I like what I see–such as these Prada ombre shoes, available in a high heel or a flat:
Prada Ombre pump, $530 at Neiman Marcus (logo plate on the heel).
Prada Vernice ballet flat, $475 at Saks.
I would think that the degrade would work in your favor, the lighter shade close to the heel creating the illustion of elongating your leg towards the darker tip. At any rate, quite elegant.
