Fitflop Videos: YouTubers Weigh In

So, I’m about to break down and buy a damn pair of those Fitflops but I feel like I’m going to look back on myself as a sucker for paying $59 for gold metallic flip flops 6 months from now. I’m just so tired of seeing people in New York wearing them and looking smug and fit. They even have them at Bliss and every time I go there I’m tempted. Do they really work? I have no idea. So I checked out these videos on YouTube.
Most people, including doctors and podiatrists, seem to be skeptical about Fitflops changing your body, but at this point, I’m willing to give it a try. Any more comments or recent findings out there? I assume a lot more people have been trying them since it’s now warm outside. What do you think of them? If they’re not changing your leg physique, are they at least ubercomfortable and helpful for plantar fasciitis?

But they are SO unattractive! The only thing worse are the old orthopedic shoes my Nana wore when she was 88.

They're really good, I must admit I was skeptical at first. I worked at a very well known Salon/Spa in South beach and we sold them. I stand 8 to 9 hr each day as a receptionist and felt like it was not worth it to purchase a fipflop at that price even with discount but finally I've given in and it was the best decision ever. I have to admit the first week of wearing it your calves tend to hurt but they are amazingly comfortable.

I bought a pair, and while I don't wear them often enough to have noticed a difference in my leg shape, I will say they are amazingly comfortable. I actually packed them on a trip to India and wore them all over the place. Normally, even the most comfortable, soft shoes will give me blisters and hurt my arches, these never did. I felt like I could walk forever in them. But like I mentioned above, I can't say they've toned my legs at all.

DO NOT BUY INTO THEM!!! I work for a comfort retailer–who I will keep nameless, but the FitFlops, while they do make you loose weight, they put unneccisary pressure on your back.
If you want something that will tone, and make you not hurt anywhere, get a pair of MBT's. TRUE, they're 3x the price but are SO comfortable and really work!

I've never wore flipflops. The closest thing I've wore to flipflops were platform wedge thongs.

Sounds good to me, as long as the foot support/back support claims are valid.

Fitflops? NEVER! Don't give in, or else next you'll be wearing Uggs! Save that money and put it towards some real shoes, not some ugly passing fad.

A friend of mine in the UK (I am in USA) recently bought a pair and she was quite excited about them. I haven't heard how she likes them now that she's had a chance to wear them though.
