Floral Peep-Toes
Posted on April 3rd, 2007 by shoesense under Anthropologie, Flats![]() |
Aren’t these dee-lightful floral peep-toe flats from Francesca Giobbi just what the doctor ordered for sprucing up your spring wardrobe? Somewhere between the exuberant, colorful print, the optical illusion of a vamp buckle, the peep-toe, and the lightness of the flat heel construction, it hits you: it’s spring! The time has come to live a little, go a little overboard, and frolic amid the blooming flowers. Available at Anthropologie for $348 . |

Why are shoes and bags from Anthropologie so damn expensive? I’ve seen my fair share of them in person, and I can tell you that worth over $300 (usual price range) they are not.

And that, my friend, is exactly the reason why I have yet to buy a pair of shoes from Anthropologie. Oh, I was tempted, I was! But at those prices–yikes! Granted, not all of them are that expensive, and some of them are actually affordable on sale, but by and large, Anthropologie’s buyers tend to favor European or high-end brands (which they don’t always identify on their website, as they’re kinda re-branding them) which do NOT come cheap. C’est la vie, toujours expensive:) ….
