Fun, cheap shoes from La Redoute
Posted on April 12th, 2007 by shoesense under GeneralWe’re all looking for that French chic spirit in our fashions–but often we don’t like the beaucoup de bucks spirit that is often associated with French glamor. But! Do not desesperez! If you’re in the market for a cheap French fix, why don’t you try La Redoute. The clothes are (often) cute and cheap, and hey, even the shoes are (often) cute and cheap! Voila:
Ventilo la Colline embroidered suede flats for $35:
Daisy-patch suede ballerina for $30:
Folk-floral velvet ballerinas for $35:
Cute Laura Clement ankle-strap suede wedges for $40:
My personal favorites, these sequin-studded blue/grey velvet ballerinas for $50:
Or these awesome silver or black patent peep-toe heels (2 1/2 inches, not so bad) for $50:
But, will they last? you will ask. I say, at these prices, you can afford to have some fun with fashion. There’s more in their shoe department worth exploring, especially fun shoes for spring. If spring every comes, that is–for now, it’s been some kind of frost-ridden pluvial disaster in the Northeast.

Hey,
I found the Natural Comfort shoes to more comfortable than any other platform or wedge I’ve ever tried. The arch support was fine and they didn’t feel heavy at alllll. You’re definitey limited to what you can where with them, but I’ve still managed to get plenty of use out of them….and spring has just begun!

I often wondered about that brand. They look so clunky, though–I only like a few styles. Glad to know they’re comfy, I might give them a try.
