Furry Louboutin Toundra Boot Try-On

posted by: freePOrnaoa in General on October 20th, 2010

I checked out the Louboutin Toundra that we wrote about before and even tried them on (couldn’t get more photos because the salespeople, while nice, are always circling and prohibit it).

That’s a 5.5-inch heel and a 1.5-inch platform. Therefore, it’s a bit like wearing a precarious 4-inch heel with fur and straps, and the shoe just isn’t that mobile. I know some of you love them, but they’d be a disaster in the rain or snow, slippery and unstable (you’d need to put non-skid grips on the bottoms for sure!)

However, one thing I’ve learned about fur boots from my Australia Luxe fur boots is that it dries easily after being rained on.

Sigh. I’ll pass because a) I don’t have $2095 lying around in my trust fund and b) even though I like furry boots, and I especially like the one in the background with the natural-colored straps, these coyote fur babies are not mobile enough to qualify as snow boots in any sense of the words.

Wonder when we’ll see the end of the Yeti High-Heeled Boot Craze? Next winter? 3 years from now? Never???

You're right. They do remind me of Marni.

Mmm…is it alright if I say none of these appeal to me? I mean, they are not ugly, just not appealing.

Definitely not shoes you trek through rain and snow in! But they do look great.
