Every time I think I have seen the coolest Jimmy Choo shoes there are, the designer thrills me with something else. These Snake & Mesh Booties ($1,095 at Neiman Marcus) are probably the most awesome booties I have seen in a very long time. Each time I look at them, something new catches my eye – and isn’t that a big sign that you’ve got a really edgy, really stylish shoe on your hands? Well, on your feet, but you get what I’m saying, right?
Jimmy Choo is so bold with color, and these booties are no exception. I mean, they’re pink. They’re nearly hot pink, how can you not love that? What’s even better is the versatility of the color, because the mesh makes the light catch the shoes differently from different angles. So, sometimes they look hot pink, sometimes they look almost sunset orange, and at other times, they appear to be a gorgeous shade of coral.
The cutout of the mesh on the upper part of the boot is designated and delineated by that gorgeous elaphe watersnake. The way it both contrasts and complements is absolutely exquisite. But ‘lest you start thinking that these would be highly uncomfortable, keep in mind that there are stretchy insets placed in the ankle. There’s also a zipper in the back. The heels are about 4 and ¾ inches high, and there is a platform for added balance and support.
My question here involves the color. What do you think of it, would you be willing to wear such a bright, bold pink?
