Giraudon
Posted on May 10th, 2007 by shoesense under High heels, PlatformsI have a friend who is so enamored with Giraudon shoes , she collects them. Knowing her style, though, I doubt she would touch these heel-platform towering hybrids, standing tall at over 4 inches:
I do love the transgressive look, the impossible task of categorizing them (d’Orsays, but not quite, wedge-y pumps, but neither), and the sage leather crescent stitched onto the rich chestnut leather with subtle cutouts. The price ain’t bad either: just under $100, down from $258 at Anthropologie.
Giraudon, btw, is rocking this hybrid style in this lace-up peep-toe spectator-style version, too ($229 at Giraudon):
Also available in white ($259 at Shoostore):
- Georgina Goodman Low Pumps
- Vince Camuto Flat Oxford Sandals
- Te Casan: Style and Soul
- Designer Shoe Deja-vu: Marc Jacobs vs Boutique Platform Wedges
- Roberto Cavalli boots
- Calvin Klein Cece Flats
