Glory Chen Shoe Giveaway

Our first giveaway for 2008 is generously donated by the folks from Glory Chen. Joy Chen is the designer behind the distinctive Glory Chen line of shoes. We love that, having studied at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, Joy Chen incorporated her knowledge of art, design, and architecture to form a collection of unique and functional shoes.
The winner of the Glory Chen giveaway will be presented with this shoe in their size. The Yan shoe is from the fall collection but we think the soft nude palette can be worn throughout the year and with all your spring outfits. The STING-RAY (yup, how interesting is that?) detailed vamp is in a shape of a heart - perfect for Valentine’s Day, don’t you think? Comfort-wise, the sole is made of eva, a type of foam normally seen on sports footwear, soft nappa leather, and I imagine the ruched trimming would be comfortable as well. This very exclusive shoe retails for over $500 at one online shoe store!

I love the heel - the stripes give the shoe a little pizzazz, and the color of the shoe is wonderfully neutral.

I love the pink color. It looks good with pale skin, whereas a lot of “neutrals” are too “brown” for me.

I typically don’t dig the stacked heel so much, but I *love* this play on it. I’ve also been feeling the blonde wood tones much stronger, so this is like the reese’s cup of those two–you got your blonde in my stacked heel! you got your wooden striations in my light wood tone!

Love it! It’s perfect for anything. The beautiful heel will be perfect when I am picking up my little ones. I’ll be able to stay sturdy for my little shoe-lings…

My wife would love these it would help her reach her goal of 200 pair, she doesn’t have too far left to go. (I actually think her goal is 365, a different pair for every day of the year, but she does have nearly 200 pair.)
