Hello Beautiful Manolo Blue! And Hot Pink Too!

“Cobalt blue satin. Silvertone hardware. Crystal broach detail on vamp. 4 1/4″ covered heel. Made in Italy.”
Words to make a girl shiver in her pumps! We hailed it in previous entries, and here it is again, front and center, in the Manolo boutique window on 54th Street in New York City!
Manolo Blahnik “Something Blue” satin pump. $945 at Bergdorf Goodman or at Manolo stores.
A surprise? We think not. The “Something Blue” is classic, and can be seen as a heritage shoe. It is reminiscent of the d’Orsay, but has its own spin on the shape and buckle. This shoe would have stood out in 1968 or 2028.
The “Something Blue” by Monsieur Blahnik is exactly what I’d want peeking out from the bottom of my wedding dress, a secret surprise that would only flash its hint of blue when I walked.
What do you think of the other colors, ladies? Take the jump to find out!
I particularly love the hot pink!

Pretty shoe, not my taste, a bit too matronly. I imagine these on HM Queen Elizabeth while hosting visiting dignitaries at the palace.

Didn't it get a name change to 'Hansigi' with the color updates? That's crawling in from the recesses of my brain. But yes, a nice classic style that does well with color variations.
