Hermès A Propos De Bottes Scarf
Posted on October 26th, 2009 by Shomore under Hermes ShoesFor fall 2009, Hermès’ has a beautiful scarf for riding boot lovers. It’s called ‘A Propos De Bottes’ which, according to Google Translate means ‘Talking about Boots’ (French speakers, I would appreciate a more accurate translation if Google wasn’t up to snuff). I love how this scarf looks knotted on the safari/travel-themed model and even hung on the wall as a backdrop.
If you who live in an area which is too warm for scarves or don’t enjoy scarves as wall decor, there are other options. Check out Savvy Gal’s post for the handbag with scarf strap or BagSnob’s scarf bow tie on her Birkin.
‘A Propos De Bottes’ is available online at Hermès for $375.

I just so happen to be a huge scarf fan and a fan of boots. The only problem is I need large women’s shoes because my feet are pretty big. Most stores I go into will have limited shoes in my size and I take a chance buying them online where they offer my size. But I would take a chance with these boots!

absolutely gorgeous…. and the direct translation is “about boots”, or “the purpose, boots”
