No sooner had I posted my previous entry on the MJ booties that I came across these MJ distressed silver T-straps (just under $370 on Zappos). Why, anybody who knows me would instantly recognize my obsession with 1) shiny things; 2) low-heeled things; 3) Mary-Janes. I mean, seriously: a shiny Mary-Janeish (square cut vamp, no less!) with a sensible heel? Yoo-hoo! All that’s missing is the sale (alas, that price is not yet budget-friendly).

As an aside, these would also make excellent sensible wedding shoes–you know, the kind you can actually dance in all night without the pain. (Hey, my wedding shoes were actually flats and allowed me to work that dance floor into the wee hours of the night.)
