Jenny Falls Off the Block in her Louboutins

Jennifer Lopez fell during her performance of “Louboutins” at the American Music Awards. Watch the video here at The Huffington Post since it seems to have been disabled all over YouTube.

But you have to give it to a woman who gracefully (and QUICKLY!) recovers, then agrees to a segment making fun of her fall on the Ellen DeGeneres Show. PR person, Ellen rep, J.Lo herself, whoever came up with that — it was PR genius. Much better than ignoring the whole thing.

She gave a pretty dope performance too, even if the song is lackluster.

Do Louboutin heels make you fall? Not in my experience, as I think most of them I’ve worn have been pretty comfortable. She wasn’t wearing heels during her jump anyway, from all appearances of the video. She switches to Louboutins later in the performance.

    Every time I jump off a guy's back I fall down. Actually the dancer who was supposed to help her missed his cue. I am wondering if this stooopid song is the beginning of what I will call CL overdose, where women will not wear CL because everyone else is either wearing them, or talking about wearing them.

    LOL. Horrible song! Horrible vocals. She is a good dancer though. That is one thing about Jlo i like, she has a really hearty laugh. I am glad she could laugh at this situation. Her fall only help to ruin a horrible song even more.
