Jimmy Choo for H&M

I’m positively purring over news that H&M is doing their first accessories brand collaboration with none other than Jimmy Choo! Hello, Lover!!! The footwear will run from $99 to $129 for boots, with high-end models topping $299 (a bargain when you consider that Choos can go for $600+). Handbags will be priced from $59.95 to $299. And there’s even a clothing line which will complement the accessories. The clothing line will have $69.95 tank tops and $249 suede one-shoulder dresses. Oh yeah, there’s also a men’s line of shoes and accessories, but I digress…
Thanksgiving feast is coming early because the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection will be available starting November 14th. It will only be in 200 stores across the world (please, please let one of them be in Seattle).

Is this a temporary collaboration, like Siegerson Morrison does for Target, or is this a permanent business decision? I could see this being a first step in creating a Choo2 that would compete in the $100 - 200 price range. Interesting that Tamara has gone this direction.

R5: Sadly, it looks like a one-time limited, collaboration only. I dread to think of all the folks who scoop up the entire line to scalp on Ebay. Some some for the rest of us, please!
Maria: it took me a while to love Seattle (we moved in the winter) but now I can’t imagine living anywhere else. BTW, love your fashion style!

I work for H&m and this collection will sell out within 2 hours and is limited to only 200 stores in the world.so if anyone wants any beware you have to camp out. I am it’s Jimmy choo!!!

Guess what? Jimmy Choo line will ONLY be sold in 9 US stores!!!!!!! 9!!!!! West Hollywood, New York, Chicago, Beverly Hills, and San Francisco.

Lucky New Yorkers will have the line in 5 of their stores: 1328 Broadway, 150 East 86th St., 435 7th Ave, 640 5th Ave, 731 Lexington Ave.
