Juicy Couture Beverly Hills Store and Louboutin at Saks
Posted on November 15th, 2007 by Shomore under Christian Louboutin ShoesRemember my window shopping at the Chanel store?
After visiting the Chanel store, my aunt and I walked down a few doors to the newly opened Juicy Couture store. Looking at this window display, would you believe this is a Juicy Couture store? Where are the signature Juicy track suits? The clothes are actually part of the Couture Couture line which is Juicy’s higher priced, lux merchandise.
Now, I don’t own any Juicy Couture shoes. Somehow I still see them as primarily a sweatsuit brand. But after viewing these Juicy shoes, I must say I will give them a second look. Don’t the patent boots and pumps look delicious? Even better, the shoes were served on a silver platter!
Cute Juicy satin loaders with gold hardware. A better picture is available on their website.
Generally speaking, I hate wearing clothes that bear large brand logos. Something about paying for an item and then being a walking billboard advertisement doesn’t appeal to me. That is why I couldn’t relate to this Juicy Couture pillow very well.
I tried on these Juicy Couture faux wooly mammoth boots in store. Something about the pom poms swishing about really appealed to me.
Okay, the march goes on. After hitting up a few other stores, we visited Saks Fifth Avenue. Christian Louboutin was in town for a rare appearance to sign shoes for his loyal fans. I missed that event, but snagged photos of the Louboutin displays. Actually, it was hard to ignore them. Louboutin shoes occupied the entire center wall and the front section of the shoes area. A few years ago, I recall it was the Manolo Blahnik shoes that occupied major real estate but I suppose that was during the Sex in the City days.
There was even vintage Louboutins on display, including these funky boots.
Apparently, some “past collection” Louboutin designs are classic and don’t vary much. These pumps look like they could be for this season.

Whelp, those are the picts that I snapped in Beverly Hills. Hope you enjoyed the set!

Oh my. I love Louboutin. I would have asked him to design me my own pair

I love CL but I’m not getting the vintage boots. Maybe it’s hard to tell from the photo but it looks like plastic boots filled with trash. Nice shape though.
