Lanvin Love
Posted on December 11th, 2009 by trainingheels under GeneralA lot of luxury houses, realising the lucrative potential (as well as the good reputation and widespread appeal) of developing or amping up already existing shoe lines, have been dramatically increasing shoe production and number of designs output lately. It also seems like a few of the older houses have gotten up to speed on how different and innovative they need to be to compete with the Pierre Hardys, Gallianos and McQueens of the world, even if they’re not going to get quite as funky or out there.
Lanvin has been doing some really gorgeous things with leather and dramatic, unconventional shapes.
A similar heel on a boot proves just as gorgeous. These are $700 on sale.
The Leather Lace Up Boot (aka the Metallic Oxford Shoe Bootie), on sale for $619, is in the background of the second photo in this post. Here is a better photo of it.

Oh my, those lace-ups sure are pretty. I bought really cheap ones but my heart still pines for sturdy designer lace-up booties.
