When did fall come, all of a sudden? It seems that only a few days ago we were fighting unbearable humidity and a heat index that made my dog get out of  breath two minutes into his walk. And today? Crisp, cool, golden air, chilly mornings and nights, and–best of all, the opportunity to wear just about any shoe you might fancy, coordinated with whatever layered combination.
