I am in love with the Bay Area spa Lavande, where you can not only get your tootsies pampered, but shop for pretty shoes to slip them into – brilliance! Lavande carries cheap to mid-level shoes, the likes of Bamboo, Kenneth Cole, Blowfish, Corso Como and Pink. They also carry jewelry and a few handbags, making it a pre-going out one stop shop.
The Lavande in Russian Hill has a Holiday Pedicure Special going on right now that is pretty amazing – a pedicure, brown sugar scrub and callus treatment for 25 recessionrific dollars. Lavande is the perfect holiday girls’ day out.

I am glad you share my love for it. The special goes until January 31, 2009, so if you are out here over the holidays, go for it! Unfortunately, the deal is for the Russian Hill location only.

Oh my god, I love Lavande! And 25 is definitely a deal, because it used to be quite a bit more, I think. It's so fun, so much pampering. They have onne more location in case you happen to be shopping in the very non-recession oriented Santana Row in San Jose. It's a little smaller, but still fab.
Also, Blowfish is GREAT! You must try the tuna tatare tower. It's the best!
