For any of you out there who know about Lela Rose and her adorable dress designs, you may be interested to learn that she’s following in the footsteps of all those designers who’ve done affordable clothing lines for places like H+M and Target (Viktor+Rolf, Proenza Schouler, Karl Lagerfeld, etc.) and creating a line of shoes for Payless.
Yep… that Payless. Her shoes will be available at Payless stores in August of this year and will include some staple styles of a shoe wardrobe: a Mary Jane pump, a d’Orsay flat, a T-strap pump, a peep-toe pump, and an ankle boot.
While I’m always a bit wary of Payless (because I’m a snob about shoe quality), this might be worth checking out. It never hurts to spend very little money on shoes that you love but might not want to wear everyday.
