Louboutin Alta Perla
Posted on June 20th, 2008 by shoesense under Christian Louboutin Shoes, High heels, SandalsI know, I know: saying that a Louboutin is pretty is like shooting fish in a barrel, but truth be told, I’m not crazy after ALL his styles, and there is a certain market saturation that triggers stylistic monotony (he’s almost TOO popular, if you know what I mean). Not so for this Alta Perla sandal: when I saw it, my heart gave a slight jolt, and I sighed the sigh of contentment I reserve for True Beauty:
Too bad True Beauty has to come with Utter Impracticality, but that’s the way things go sometimes in the shoe world. This jewel of a shoe is $955 at Barneys or Net-a-Porter.

I have tried on a very similar style by Louboutin without the jewel and my legs look a mile long. Great style! Chanel has something like this on sale at Neiman but alas too small for me. I almost wanted to cut my toes off so I can buy that pair of shoes. : )

I just tried these on at Neimans today… they are absolutely STUNNING. Far better looking than in the picture!! They only had them in a 38 and sadly I needed a 37.5 or 37 and couldn’t make them work. They were over 50% off too… I almost shed a tear walking out of there empty handed!!!
