There’s a reason Manolo Blahnik shoes are considered the crème de al crème of all shoes, everywhere. I mean, even if they aren’t your favorite, you have to give the brand some serious props. One reason why is because of these Manolo Blahnik Ducci Heels ($1,495 at Barneys), which are just seriously drop dead gorgeous. Forget Gucci, I am all about Ducci now. Okay, not really, I love Gucci, I was just going for the rhyme factor.
These are just gorgeous. If it’s not obvious, these caught my eye solely because of the strap. Those jeweled flowers are so beautiful. These are like princess shoes. I mean, these are the kinds of pumps that make me wish it was cool to wear black shoes as a bride. I wish I was still of an age to go to prom, just to kill everybody by showing up with these. Forget the dress, you know?
The jewel encrusted floral motif covers the entire T-strap on these heels. The toe itself is satin, and it’s tapered for a really edgy look. The heels are 105 millimeters, which comes out to a little over 4 inches, and there is no platform.
The silhouette here is so feminine and it is somewhat flirtatious as well. I love the way the heel curves a little bit, and in doing so, how it mimics the arch of the sole, which is all leather. These are the definition of some sexy, strappy heels.
Do you like your shoes to have a little bling? I only like jeweled embellishments like this when they’re done well – and these are definitely done well. Oh man.
