Manolo’s Playful Coliflor Shoes

Do you love the Coliflor’s playful undulations, or is it too busy for you? I personally think it’s really fun, but I can see how it wouldn’t be everyone’s fave.

Apparently, the gardens around Senor Manolo’s house in the Canary Islands inspired an entire group of botanical shoes. The round cutouts are meant to imitate cauliflower heads. You’ve gotta love this man. What a life, to whimsically design based on what inspires you! It’s foggy in New York, a rare occurrence, but the lovely mist isn’t stopping me from gawking at these bright spring beauties bursting forth like fresh vegetation from Manolo’s window.
And what a life we have here at ShoeBlog, writing about the wonderfully fascinating shoes these people design.
PS – There’s a lime green pair, too! Go get em (for $1185) at this boutique, herbivore!
