These are, of course, the famous Marc Jacobs ‘mouse’ shoes (see, that little whisper of a whisker straddling the cute-as-a-button vamp? that’s it! that’s the hint of mousiness!)

However, there’s nothing mousy about these navy blue velvet flats. In fact, the only word properly describing them is adorable. Don’t even dare to disagree. You know that, deep down, you like them too.

And so, I couldn’t resist. I snatched the last pair on Yoox for $128. Don’t judge me. I gave in to the power of the mouse shoe.
