Memphis, Here I Come!

When some of our readers travel, rather than purchasing cheesy souvenirs, they purchase a pair of shoes.  What a cool idea.

I have a business trip planned for Memphis, TN next week.  I have never been there, and would love to hear from Memphis residents about interesting things to see and do there.  If there are any fun boutiques that have interesting shoes, let me know about them.  I think it would be fun to purchase a pair of shoes that say Memphis TN.  I am thinking Blue Suede….. (I know, I know, it is a little predictable.)

Romantic Soles Clinton $82.50 at Zappos

Franco Sarto Bocca $70.00 at Zappos

Let me know if you have a favorite shoe store or boutique so I can check them out next week!

I am at the Peabody. R5baby can look at the ducks, and I will be looking at Strut.

    hey! i live in memphis!

i have to say shoe shopping here isn't really top notch but there are a few interesting places.

im guessing youll be staying downtown and there is a store called Strut down there that has some good shoes :)

Good luck and enjoy your stay!

ps. maybe you can find some blue suede shoes in the Graceland giftshop? i opted for the tacky gold aviators when i first went! lol
