Miu Miu Spazzolato Color Spectator Pump – Shoes with wings
posted by: Shomore in Prada & MiuMiu Shoes on August 21st, 2007
I am sorry, but these Miu Miu Spazzolato pumps do nothing for me. They look like shoes which have sprouted wings. Any moment now, they will see their end and take flight to shoe heaven. Also, why would anyone name a shoe ‘spazzolato’? From dictionary.com, the definition of spazz is
spaz or spazz (spāz)
n. pl. spazz-es
One who is considered clumsy or inept.
What do you think? Is this an innovative and fresh look or do these pumps remind you of Dumbo’s ears?

Well.. It sure is intresting.. Mmh, I like it.. But it isn’t that pretty. I wouldn’t buy (I think)! Those things on the top look like Elephants ears…… Under construction? (I hope so)

yeh i’m pretty sure the ‘spazzolato’ refers to the brushed leather. they use spazzolato to refer to other leather items too. its not the name of the shoe.
but imo theyre absolutely fabulous. better than the standard stuff other designers churn out and overprice

I looked it up and ‘spazzolato’ means something like ‘brushed’ in Italian. Not that it makes a whole lot of sense anyway–unless those side-wings are meant to ‘brush’ your ankle or something. Whatever!

I happen to think that these shoes are adorable. They’ll tailor your ankles making them look slimmer then usual. Pair it up with a great pinstripe pencil skirt and you’ll be set.
