So … I am still on my Mary Jane kick. But I think that once you see what Miu Miu has gotten up to, you’ll totally understand why I’m having troubles with my will power. I mean honestly, I just cannot help myself. I love the way Miu Miu does Mary Janes – especially these stunning, gorgeous, utterly delectable Miu Miu Spectator Peep-Toe Mary Janes ($454.99 at Saks). And hey ladies? Saks has these on sale too. They’re down almost two hundred dollars, from an original price of $650. Those are the kinds of savings that make me want to splurge.
What don’t I love about these precious peep-toes? As a matter of fact, there’s not a single aspect about them that I don’t find gorgeous and perfect and wonderful and amazing. Can you tell I’m smitten? Made of patent leather, they are two-toned, and it’s those two tones that first caught my eye: the combination of beige and burgundy is so pretty, I can’t even stand it. It’s so delicate, yet somehow bold – it’s everything I want in a shoe.
I love how feminine these Mary Janes are. The colors do a lot there, but that little bow is a huge part of it as well. Little bow, big impact.
The heel is self-covered and measures about 5 and ½ inches (140 millimeters), but is comparable to a 4 inch heel due to the 1 and ½ inch platform, which is also self covered.
What do you think about the color palette here? It’s original, to be sure. Do you like it? Anybody as crazy about it as me?
