Miu Miu two-tone pumps

I absolutely LOVE the idea behind these Miu Miu two-tone patent pumps ($430 at Net-a-Porter):
There is also a Miu Miu two-tone gray ombre version in suede and patent (gray is big this fall, remember, fashionistas?)–for $445:
I’ve come across this often enough to call it a trend: moving the center of interest in a shoe from the toe to the heel. These are beautiful detailed and curved, although probably a killer to walk in. Can’t they make a low-heel version–2 inch tops? I’d be so all over these babies then!

I just purchased the black and purple (called nero/azalea) version of this pump, they are beautiful and relatively easy to walk in.
