Not long ago, we published a review of an exciting new product, Muleos, destined to help us keep those backless shoes firmly attached to our heels–a quality you will grow to appreciate even more if you go dancing, or if you’re forced to hurry up to catch a cab. Or just get ahead of the competition to get the cutest boy at the bar. Whatever floats your boat. Where was I?

Ah, Muleos! There are two basic products for now–Muleos ties and Muleos straps. I had complained in that previous post that the charms on my ties came undone the moment I took them out of their cute little organza packaging–if not sooner. That was a bummer, as it rendered the ties virtually useless. However, Muleos founder Michele Hickford was gracious enough to send me a replacement (plus the leather straps–thank you! they are all my colleagues were raving about and more!)–in a different design, with beading at the ends instead of the metal Muleos-logo charms. Behold:

Muleos beads

I was very happy with the quality of the beadwork and how it attached to the straps. Very stylish, very elegant, adding a bit of oomph to the shoe and the outfit in general.

So there! If you, too, have tons of backless shoes (mules, slides, etc.), Muleos might help you add a little pizzazz to your outfit and help you refresh your shoe wardrobe without giving up your favorite pair or having to pay the full price for new shoes. A girl has got to be able to keep her options open!
