My New Shoes…..Not
Posted on July 5th, 2009 by r5bales under Christian Louboutin ShoesOK, I have been putting $50 a month away and was ready to put some serious money on a pair of Christian Louboutins. I have to really search hard because I wear an Italian 42. Not many of those around. This is what I wanted:
Christian Louboutin Lady Page $995 at Bergdorf
Anyways, the day after I started searching seriously, I had to switch gears. Let me show you my new purchase
Yes folks, that is the Samsung front load washing machine. The day after I started searching for a pair of shoes, my washing machine went out. I can live without a lot of things, but a washing machine isn’t one of them. Back to saving $50 a month.

I feel your pain! At least your clothes will look great when you finally get the Louboutins!

Oh, how terrible! But not really because I bet that washing machine looks shiny. Shiny new things bring happiness.

Lol.. What I need is a machine that folds and puts the laundry away. I don’t think one of those has been invented.

This happens to me everytime I save up for shoes like these. Although my husband understands spending $200 on shoes, $900 shoes would land me in divorce court! LOL!

Mr. R5 didn’t know.

I have a frontloader. It ’sings’ when the laundry is done. I would love to save up & find a Dior shoe on clearnance somewhere, but I also want an embroidery machine & industrial air compressor for sand-etching (among others), & those just seem a better value…even to a shoe-lover like me. Must be that dominant working-class gene that runs so strongly in my family. If it’s got an engine, it’s more likely to actually have the big dollars put down for it.
I’ll settle for my Betsey Johnsons & sale steals for now. lol.

Good for you!!!!!!
A front loader would be my dream too. I think they’re gentler on clothes.

Lol… Gal, For the longest time I had a long arm quilt machine on my wish list. My sister got one, and I played with it enough to get that out of my system. I no longer quilt enough to warrant the long arm, but I was idly looking at them last week and nearly broke out the sewing maching and alfa cutter. *whew* after a while it went away.

Well at least you could afford a front loader with all that money! They are so much better. Maybe you could find a pair on ebay in your size and save a little money?

This exact same thing just happened to me! I kid you not. Husband and I are heading out to look around at different washers and prices tonight. I was literally two weeks away from being in the Louboutin Boutique in Las Vegas and buying something fabulous. I am deep in despair - at least you understand my pain.
As a side note, why did you decide on this particular washer?… Curious since I’m in the market…

oh no. this always happens to me too!

Miss J…Front loaders have a tendency to mold around the gasket. The Samsung I got is massive… 4.5 cu.ft.,it was on sale at Best Buy (saved $300), and it has some kind of special silver fairy dust to fight the mold issue. And it has a cut little tune.

Yeah! I’ve heard that.. Good to know. Maybe we’ll be purchasing the Samsung! Now get back to saving for shoes!

I got the 2nd largest frontloader on the marked (as of 18 months ago). I actually brought my king comforter into the store to make sure it would be large enough…drycleaners charge a fortune for oversized laundry. I figured for $1200, they could bear with me size-testing the merchandise before I put down the money for it.
… kind of like trying on shoes in a dept store.
