New Fabric Louboutins at Barneys
Posted on December 10th, 2009 by trainingheels under GeneralThese beautiful new numbers are for sale for $845 at Barneys’ showroom. It’s a nice change from the usual Louboutin and they don’t appear to be for sale online yet.
On the Louboutin website, it says that these are made of “damas.” Do they mean “damask” fabric? I think so, but someone needs to check their website copy if so. Perhaps damas is a hot new Spanish fabric I’ve just never heard of!
These are so resort, and I am dying for the candy colored stripes.

“Damas” (da-mah) is the French word for damask the fabric, and Damascus, the city from which the fabric comes from. I’ve seen this term used for the fabric many times, most often by French companies.
